For each battery received, $10.00 will be donated to the WCAGFC (soccer club) until the end of August. Help make this fundraiser a huge success by checking your workshops and garages for old 12V batteries. Bring them in today and make a difference in a child’s life.
The Kia Canada Drive Change is an initiative that happens every year on August 21st. Drive Change is about changing things for the better. It’s about thinking big; no matter how small you start. It encourages people to join together and work towards improving their communities.
For Kia Canada it’s about being a positive corporate citizen and making the world around us a better place. It has allowed us to give back in meaningful ways to the communities that have supported us.
In 2011, there were over 117 Drive Change events across Canada and we donated over $45,000 to community projects and not-for-profit organizations.
This year we are making Drive Change Day bigger than ever and we’re inviting all Canadians to Drive Change in their communities. Please join us this year by joining in your local event at West Coast Kia in Pitt Meadows to help Drive Change in your neighborhood.
