Hockey is part of Canada’s national identity. So it goes without saying that our hearts are heavy in the wake of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy that took place on April 6, 2018.
From coast to coast, Canadians have found a way to show support and solidarity through this most difficult time. Some have purchased hats or donated to the GoFundMe page that was set up on behalf of those affected by the accident, while some have even placed hockey sticks on their front porches. The employees of the West Coast Auto Group came together to raise a donation of $1.313, which is being matched by the West Coast Auto Group for a total of $2,626!
On Thursday, April 13, 2018, the staff at West Coast Kia chose to wear jerseys as part of the national #HumboldtStrong movement. On behalf of everyone at the dealership, our thoughts go out to the survivors and victims’ families through this most difficult time.
