West Coast Kia celebrated Kia Canada’s Drive Change Day on August 21. This is a national movement where Kia dealerships work to drive change in their local community.
Driving change in the Pitt Meadows community, West Coast Kia launched a Soccer Equipment Drive. All donated equipment will be picked up by Kia Canada and distributed throughout Canada, to kids in need. Upon dropping off equipment, donors have been able to scoop up one of West Coast Kia’s Drive Change Day bracelets.
Already having collected over 300 soccer balls and pieces of equipment, this initiative will run until September 30th. If you or anyone you know has lightly used soccer equipment, ranging from balls and goalie gloves to shinpads and cleats, please help support the movement by dropping them off at West Coast Kia.
Update:
Linda De Ciantis, Program Co-ordinator from Ray-Cam Co-operative Centre in Vancouver, expressed her thanks to Kia Canada on behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and youth who benefit from Ray-Cam Co-operative Centre, in regards to our Drive Change Day efforts. It proves that Kia Canada’s Drive Change Day is impacting our local community.
